Can we allow users to enter multiple values in filter separated by a comma ?

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me a way around to allow users to enter multiple values in filter separated by a comma.

By now, I have allowed filters to accept values from users

I have also used generic filter syntax in my sql [db.column = Filtername] and

Even Direct Replacement Filters db.column in (  [Filtername]  )

User is entering values separated by a comma like 123 , 456 , but the sql is getting converted without comma like db.column in ( 123456 )

  • Hi Aakash Harit! Currently our free input filters do not support special characters (commas and spaces included). However, you can indeed enter multiple free input filter values by typing in 123, hitting enter, then typing 456, and hitting enter again.

I have circled your use case of comma separating filter values within our product team - if you have any other questions, feel free to reach out!

    • Neha Kumar Thanks for your reply, however would like to inform that typing in 123, hitting enter takes the values but i will have 50-100 of them sometimes, which makes it practically non-feasible as a solution.

A better way will be pasting comma delimited ids in filters.

Moreover, as far as free input filters are concerned, i work for Rivigo Organization, which i suppose will have license to your product. Can you guide me if  i could open a support ticket with your product team, for getting this issue solved.
